Soft pastel, aerosol, acrylic, latex, glitter paint, pan pastel, silkscreen, bamboo paper and metallic paint on toned paper
80× 42
Through light tracking, I collect fleeting moments of light and shadow, translating them into playful, layered landscapes of paper and soft pastel. This piece brings a spiral staircase shadow I tracked during a beach vacation around 2017 into conversation with botanical light trackings from more recent days, collaging these impressions on tracing paper to create new relationships between shapes, places, and moments in time.
