My art is a visual representation of my dreams, futuristic fantasies and the way I view the world. I use mixed media to tell a narrative with paint, collage, found objects and textures. My art invites people to interrupt the narratives about women's bodies with limitless possibilities through using 2 and 3 dimensional art forms. My primary subject(s) wear masks in my art work to convey that this can be anyone's journey or experience. I have connected art pieces that are more specific to the stories as I hear them more upfront and personal. We are in an environment of struggle, it is my role to understand and illustrate the healing journey for people to see spirit and be at peace.
